Appetiser was Smoked Salmon Salad with Japanese Sesame sauce.
This bowl whet my appetite, getting me ready for more to come!
Next, Truffle Fries with Truffle Salsa
At first, i was a little hesitant about the taste of the Truffle Salsa (because sour warm food is not my thing) but decided to at least try it. MYMY *-* the dip was so full of truffle flavour that i cant believe that it is available here at only $8.80! Yes, you saw it right, only costs $8.80 for a reasonable amount of fries with the awesome truffle dip.
Time to move on to other food
The 4 different Skewers named Beef Meat Ball, Prawn Paste Chicken, Salmon Belly Fin and Grilled Mackerel. (from left to right)
Most notable was Salmon Belly Fin, juicy meat and fat made the dish very enticing.
Grilled Mackerel that I had, had small little bones so do take note for those with children.
The skewers have a little special story behind how it made.
eGril & Piza uses RoboQ, a new grilling technology that requires no use of additional cooking oil. This means that all skewers are cooked just like that, the meats are cooked through their own natural oil. *cue all the healthy eaters*
Lastly, the main dish has come!!
PIZZAS
Salmon Mentai Pizza and Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Pizza.
Salmon Mentai Pizza with generously spreaded mentai sauce(!!!) and salmon chunks(!!! again). It tastes just like salmon mentaiko sushi, just that instead of rice, its pizza here but it is just as good.
Anytime u crave for japanese food or mentaiko specifically, you know where to go now;)
Spicy Teriyaki Chicken Pizza has spices that really stung my tongue even before i bit the slice of pizza.
Those looking for a kick of spiciness can try this dish.
This affordable and student-friendly restaurant at the basement of The Cathay exceeded way above my expectations.
The prices are so reasonable and affordable, what more that it is situated at town area.
Do give it a try and i am sure you will be back for more!
