Enjoy Nature At Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari

Spot the newest and fifth Tiong Bahru Bakery Safari (TBB Safari) at Dempsey with its huge tent up to create a outdoor space for diners to enjoy the surrounding greenery. Besides getting to appreciate the peaceful view, the connecting verdant 3,000 squarefoot garden grows a variety of plants, vegetables, fruits and flowers that goes into TBB Safari’s antioxidant latte selection and power breakfast jars.

Having mastered the perfect crossiant, they got out of their comfort zone to create colourful drinks and breakfast jars that packs a punch. Think turmeric, blue pea and beetroot lattes, alongside super breakfast jars infused with turmeric roots, rojak flowers and edible flowers.

The latte and power breakfast jars are packed with Singapore’s very own edible plants that are exclusive to the African safari inspired cafe. The plants used have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties to help our body combat undesirable symptoms.

In addition to the iconic caffeine-free TBB teh tarik [$7], there is the blue bell latte [$6], beetroot and ginger latte [$6.50] and turmeric and ginger latte [$6.50]. The blue bell latte’s light blue colouring comes from the blue pea flower extract and coconut milk. The turmeric and ginger latte is gluten-free and dairy-free with a touch of organic coconut sugar, perfect for vegans! Lastly, the beetroot and ginger latte glows in a softer pink rose hue using soy milk or almond nut milk replacement at no extra charge.

The Home of the Handmade Croissant continues to support “Grow Your Own Food” movement by introducing rainbow power breakfast jars. The 3 jars are papaya infused with turmeric on a bed of tapioca pearls (sago) and coconut milk [$8.50], pandan-infused pineapple on rolled oats in black sesame-infused milk [$8.80] and apples on birscher muesli with rojak flowers [$8.50]. Do note that all TBB Safari exclusives may change from time to time depending on what nature brings.

Even the cute rabbit is eating the flowers from our breakfast jars! The neighbouring restaurant, Open Farm Community does rear some bunnies (big and small) so you can do some little rabbit sighting while you’re there!

Make sure to visit this hot spot and take in the refreshing air, view and food. It is a place away from the city where you can let go of your troubles and just relax in nature.
