Frieda Restaurant, named after the only daughter of the hotel founder Berthold Kempinski serves up some warm and hospitable authentic German fare. Located at the Arcade @ The Capitol Kempinski, it is very conveniently central and the decor of the building is absolutely beautiful. Expect to take many OOTDs shots here!
Frieda has 3 sections -Frieda’s Day Bar, Dining Room, and Garden. Sip on some ice-cold German beer at the Day Bar and enjoy some quiet time alone, or with a special one. The Dining Room has wooden flooring and comfortable benches for a more festive and intimate atmosphere. Lastly the Garden with an outdoor terrace is the perfect spot for an afternoon tea or some coffee and cake with your friends and family.

Oven Roasted Pork Knuckle Beer Jus, Sauerkraut and Pretzel Dumpling – $39
Platter of Grilled Sausages and Meatloaf (Served with Sauerkraut, Mashed Potato, Pretzel Dumpling and Dijon Mustard) – $54 for 2 pax, $105 for 4 pax.
Veal Wiener Schnitzel with Potato Salad, Cucumber-Dill Salad and Cranberry Sauce – $37
Pretzel Dumplings with Creamy Mushroom Ragout and Spring Onions -$26
Poached Wagyu Beef Brisket with Horseradish Cream Sauce, Parsley Potatoes and Beetroot Salad – $35
Vienna-Style Baked Chicken with Potato Salad, Mixed Organic Lettuce and Cranberry Sauce – $34
Pancake Bismarck with Icing Sugar and Mixed Berries Compote – $12
Semolina Pudding with Sour Cherry Compote and Pastry Dough Crumble – $12
Lastly also some complements from the dessert chef, some good ole Vanilla Icecream with apple rings fried to perfection with a thin layer of flour and sprinkled heavily with cinnamon powder. Didnt get the name of this dessert but I loved this the most!
Overall, a very hearty and fufilling meal here at Frieda. Definitely my choice to go for a chillax Monday to kick start the week, or a nice Saturday afternoon out. 
Don’t forget to add a German beer to complete your meal 😉
