Kam’s Roast is finally at our coast! As it’s name suggests, this 1-Michelin star restaurant is known for it’s signature roast dishes like Roast Duck, Suckling Pig, ‘Toro’ Char Siew and Wonton Noodles.
Not to be simply passed over, their unassuming wonton noodles is done perfectly al dente. It’s no wonder, considering noodles are air flown daily from Hong Kong on Singapore Airlines. Yes, it is that atas. The freshly made, shifu level wonton requires no further elaboration.
Seen above is the mouth-watering Roast Duck dish. Succulent and marinated to the core, every mouth is simply an enjoyable experience.
Next, something we are all no stranger to and the traditional centrepiece to every special occasion – Suckling Pig. Fragrant, crispy and thin skin. Natural Collagen. Delectable, brown sauce. Check, check and check.
However, the star of the day definitely goes to the ‘Toro’ Char Siew. Using only premium pork belly, this slab of meat is seasoned with the Kam family’s secret marinade. It is spot on with its perfect balance of lean meat and fat, and that melt-in-your-mouth texture with the sweet, sweet burnt bit at the corners. Ever so sinful, but something to die for all day, err day!
