We are excited to introduce 2 new flavours concocted by Morganfield for the month of July, Tennessee Whiskey BBQ sauce and Carolina Gold Mustard BBQ sauce to celebrate America’s Independence Day. It is different from the usual red, sweet and tangy sauces that we are accustomed to.
With 2 new flavours of BBQ ribs sauces, we now have a total of 7 BBQ ribs sauces to indulge this season! The 2 flavours are whiskey based sauce from Tennessee and a golden mustard barbecue sauce from South Carolina. Tennessee Whiskey BBQ sauce is sweet, savoury and a little bitter though the whiskey flavour is not that intense. Carolina Gold Mustard BBQ sauce is a good sauce that has the mustard taste while being sweet, it also does not have the stingy sensation from the usual mustard sauce.
The two new Barbecue sauces are also available as part of the weekday Top Value Set Lunch promotion, that comes with a free soup and drink. Top Value Set Lunch from $12.90++ and available for dine-in from Mondays to Fridays (excluding Public Holidays), 11am to 3pm. There are 14 different mains to choose from and each main comes with free Soup of the Day and a soft drink or hot coffee/ tea.
This watermelon tea is very refreshing and a perfect pair with the ribs.
There is also a regular Weekend Ribs Buffet where you can enjoy free flow Sticky Bones, sides and soups. What a great opportunity to try out all the different sauces, sides and soups! It is priced at $40++ and available from 11am to 4pm on weekends and public holidays.
