At RM$17.90 you get a lava cookie with a choice of your favourite scoop of ice cream! I definitely had to go with the Salted Egg White ice cream which intrigued me. Made out of caramelised ice cream and salted egg bits which were steamed and chopped to little bits giving some texture.
Cookies are baked a la minute and takes about 10-15 minutes, good things are worth waiting for! We got them piping hot and it was a great balance between hot and cold, savoury and sweet. I am secretly glad that Singapore has an outlet (also selling this, SGD$9.90/ ea, with ice cream) The yellow gold liquid is not overly salty nor overly sweetened, very much like the liu sha you get in the custard buns.
