We had a full day in Taipei today so we had breakfast at 永和豆浆.
We got a warm soy bean milk, salty soy bean milk with you tiao and xiao long bao. If you like soy bean, you should try their salted version, tasted a little like Steamed egg (Chawanmushi). The 小笼包 is not the same one we have in SG, it’s more like a 肉包 with a breadtalk exterior.
We went at about 10am so there wasn’t any queue at all.

Chang Kai-shek memorial hall,
There a guard changing ceremony every hour from 9am to 5pm. You can probably spend about 1 to 1.5 hours here, we also visited the various exhibitions on the other floors. There are a total of 4 floors.

This is the one and only outlet in Taipei. The nearest station is 象山. It’s quite confusing to get here, but they have lots of signages and posters to guide you. It’s at A11 B1 (A11 is the building name and B1 is Basement 1). Do head there to take a queue number before you do anything else, we waited for about 1.5 hours.

228 Peace Park Memorial Park is located pretty near to where we stayed so we often pass by to get to places. There’s a few #ootd spots, a little carps pond with a bridge, statues, beautiful pavilions etc.

Supposedly rated to be the best 面线, but i bet to differ. Personally, I have actually tasted a better one at Zhong Xiao Night Market (忠孝夜市), at a humble little stall,. Nevertheless, you could give Ah Chung a try and you might just like it!
