Taiwan Itinerary Day 6 (8D7N), Taipei: Lao Wang Ji Beef Noodles

老王记牛肉面 – Lao Wang Ji Niu Rou Mian

Omg, beef lovers should take note of this one here. It’s NT$220 per bowl and you can pick a light broth 清湯牛肉麵 or spicy broth 紅燒牛肉麵. We got one of each to try. We were actually here last year but i forgot how good it tasted. Beef was succulent and not too gamey. There’s free flow of preserved vegetables on the table.

This place is quite easy to find and could have a snaking long queue so go early and when they just started business. The staff there are attentive and clear up the tables really fast. I have seen so many locals and tourists patronising the stall so it definitely speaks a lot about the quality of its food.

Address: No. 15 Taoyuan Street, Zhongzheng District, Boai Special District, Zhongzheng

Operating hours: 11am-230pm and 5pm-7pm

After that, we took a slow stroll to the Liberty Square, got 50Lan bubble tea (i honestly prefer Koi in SG), went to Peace Park, and then Ximending again to soak in the vibes, had lots of street food, watched performances and bought souvenirs for family and friends!
