This legendary collaboration between 2 powerhouse of the F&B industry is set open a new collaborative dining concept on 31 July 2019 at Clarke Quay Central. Now, you can enjoy specialties side by side from both Tendon specialist Tendon Kohaku and unagi specialist Man Man Unagi at the two new restaurants with 40-seaters each.
Kaisen x Hitsumabushi by Teppei and Man Man [$32.50++]
Man Man Unagi is renowned for its unagi offerings and often have a long queue outside their restaurant. They own their success to only using premium Japanese eel and drenching them in a thick and rich unagi sauce. If you love the sauce, at this restaurant you can ask for refills of the sauce! The unagi is served alongside kaisen don with a secret-recipe sauce from Teppei Japanese restaurant.
Jumbo Unagi Tendon [$29++]
Whoever sees this will only stop and turn back for a closer look. This huge eel is deep fried in whole with the tempura batter.
Crispy Unagi Dragon Roll [$9++]
A combination of tempura prawn, tempura crabstick and avocado draped across vinegared Japanese rice. A must-order.
If you have not tried any of these 2 restaurants, you are missing out so much. Head down to Clarke Quay Central and try both at the same time and you will know why their queues are always so long.
