First and foremost, i would have you know that Vineyard supports our local farming community by serving up dishes made from local sources and their very own edible garden. So having a meal here feels good even before you tuck in because #SGboleh #supportlocal. Good food with a cause, at least for me ??
And don’t be fooled or expect any less just because the ingredients are locally sourced. Chef definitely displays an array of impressive French culinary techniques to elevate every single dish put on the table. The creative conceptualization and visual appeal behind every plate seeks to whet out one’s appetite.
First, welcome mocktails. For those with a sweet tooth, go for the berry kiss. Personally, i prefer the passionfruit mocktail – with it’s refreshing balance of sweet and citrus sourness 🙂
Next, some escargots for starters. Visually – wow, right? Chef wanted to replicate the garden vibes that bring the different elements of the dish together. Escargots elevated.
For mains, i had the Local Farmed Poulet. A hearty dish of home Brined Chicken nestled in a Vegetable and Shimeji Mushroom Ragout and Poultry Jus. Then topped off with a beautiful slice of charred Meyer lemon to give that perfect zest. I absolutely didn’t want the meal to come to an end with this one. ? ✨
We were in for a treat with some Mango Tian for dessert. Composed of savoury Chocolate Yoghurt, Mango Gelee, Crumble and Fresh Fruit, it was a wonderful marriage of sweet and savory. A perfect ending to every meal!
