Celebrating a German tradition “Karneval” with Brozeit

Brotzeit is a local brand casual dining restaurant that brings authentic German cuisine and beers to Singapore. They have launched their special Karneval menu – Karneval is a traditional German festival where Germans celebrate with simple street food and beer.

Brotzeit’s Half-meter Sausage Challenge

A pair get to enjoy the sausage with potato salad baguette for free if they finish it within 4 minutes. The potato salad was a good and special addition to a usual sausage bun combination.

Duo of Chicken (Zweierlei von Huhn) $40

A chicken dish where you get the best of both worlds, it has half an oven-roasted chicken and half a golden fried chicken. There will be 2 sides, fries and potato salad along with the full chicken. Quite interesting to be able to enjoy 2 different types of preparation style on the same plate. The chicken is enough to be shared among 3-4 people if you are ordering other dishes too.

German Tapas (Deutsche Tapas)

3 for $15, 6 for $28, 12 for $45

There are 12 different bites that you and your friends can choose from the menu. They have the Bierbeisser, super food salad, spicy chicken sausages, currywurst, golden fried chicken, cheese spätzle, meatballs seabass filet, fried mushrooms, meatloaf in mini kaiser roll, chicken schnitzel in mini kaiser roll, and their meat patty in mini kaiser roll. This means that you get to try so many different German specialties without being too stuffed. Get a taste of each and decide what you like so that you can eat them again in Brotzeit or even in Germany itself. Also, if you like the golden fried chicken, you could purchase the Duo of Chicken at $40 to get a larger portion and also get to try the oven-roasted chicken.
