Introducing their new revitalised menu is Char Restaurant along Jalan Besar Road – you can expect an at least 70% change in their new menu. You might have probably heard all that raving over their roasted meats.
Their Signature Char Siew is almost to-die-for, going at $6 per 100g / min 300g is a good portion for 4 pax. Pork belly is used in this dish, roasted with a special blend consisting of over 30 ingredients ensuring a nice tender and moist piece of roasted meat, encased with a sweet sauce that’s so addictive, you find yourself reaching out for more!! Please have a bowl of rice ready!
If you’re feeling it, go for their Premium Slow-Roasted Char Siew, $20 per portion (150g). Now, this is limited to just 10 servings per day, with just only 1 order per table. This fresh delicious plate of smoky Char Siew is highly sought after and takes many hours to ensure the meat is nicely roasted and kept juicy – there is a nice “bacon-like” smell coming out from this, due to the use of sweet lychee wood in their cooking process. Be sure to call in advance to have your portion set aside for you!
