Machida Shoten, located at the Japan Food Town area of Wisma Atria has launched new menu items and they are going at an affordable price starting from $9.80. ”Iekei” means “home” in Japan and they aim to evoke warm and homely emotions with its dishes and offerings. The new bowls are tweaked to cater to local palates.
Tonkotsu Shoyu, this also happens to be my favourite, you have to get the Special, which includes the seaweed and lava egg (gosh!) The yellow noodles carries up the broth really well.
Tonkotsu Shio, deliciously creamy albeit abit salty and good for those who like richer tasting food.
Spicy Miso, this is the spicier version of the Tonkotsu Miso (also one of their new offerings), i love that their pork is very tender and succulent!
Get a plate of gyozas to pair your ramen with. This is also part of their new lunch set options. Either get the gyoza, fried rice, mini salad and rice or the gyoza plus the fried rice, additions begin at $3.
Their upcoming promotion is the Ladies Day, where all ladies will get 1-for-1 ramen or free dessert and drinks for every ramen purchased on every wednesday. Also, if ladies bring a guy friend, the 1-for-1 deal still stands. This is available from now till 1st August, so hurry gather your girlfriends boyfriends!
