Avid fan of Taiwan and always making it a point to visit the country every year? Many travel to Taiwan for their famous street snacks in night markets among other things that we enjoy like shopping and sightseeing.

What happens if you crave for Taiwan food, Monga is now here to bring to you their authentic flavour. The brand is finally here in Singapore at JEM Shopping mall, yay for westies! Monga is famous taiwan celebrity Nono’s Fried Chicken Brand.

The Taiker, The King, Hot Chick [$6.90 each]

There are 3 different flavours, seaweed, original and spicy respectively as shown above! Their chicken is huge, thick and extremely heavy and costs only $6.90 each!! It is so heavy that I had a hard time holding on to 3 pieces without dropping them. Besides these classic dish, they have Monga Nuggets [6 pieces $5.90, 9 pieces $7.90] and 3 different types of fries, Sweet Potato Fries with Plum Powder [$3.50], Signature Fries [$3.50] and Seaweed Fries [$3.50]. On the menu, there is also Fried Broccoli [$3.50] and King Oyster Mushroom [$3.90]

Monga Nuggets [6 pieces $5.90, 9 pieces $7.90]

This is perfect if you would like the chicken in smaller sizes so that it is easier to eat and as a lighter snack. It is also really crispy on the outside with tender flesh on the inside.

Fried Chicken Skin [$3.90]

A hot favourite, crispy chicken skin seasoned with pepper and salt. The best snack to have when you need something to chew on as it is so addictive to even stop.

Sweet Potato Fries with Plum Powder [$3.50]

Grapefruit Tea [$4.50], Osmanthus Oolong Tea [$3.30] and Orange Green Tea [$4.50]

Their range of tea drinks are also worth trying as they are really refreshing to sip as you munch on the taiwan snacks. The Osmanthus Oolong Tea is really fragrant and has a strong tea after taste. While the other 2 teas, Orange Green Tea and Grapefruit Tea has pulps in it, Orange is quite sweet while Grapefuit has a bitter aftertaste when you bite into its pulps.
