Aloha Poké, the Poke Bowl joint, that never disappoints with its strict consistency and standards on their food, for the best poke experience. With a larger space at the Westgate, customers can dine in and enjoy their wholesome and healthy meal.
We got to see Chef Michael displaying his knife skills as he cut a fresh Norwegian Salmon that is flown in every single day. After which, he proceeded to make a bowl of Original flavoured Salmon in front of us for us to try the recipe personally made by him. As expected, it was so fresh and has a clean taste.
This time, I departed from my usual safe choice of Original Salmon and decided to try the Wasabi and Spicy Salmon. It was a great choice because these 2 flavours added a spicy kick to my bowl of salad. For those afraid that Wasabi Salmon might be too overpowering, it should be ok if you usually add a spoon of wasabi to your soy sauce as a dip.
A new addition to the menu: Spam masubi with tamago [$6]. It comes with a salad at the side to give a balanced meal.
By the way, they changed to a new plate that is pretty for photos and to see while you are slowly savouring your food. It is also great that you get to see all the ingredients so that you can pick out which combination works best as you pick them up with their cute fork and spoon.
