Join us on the Genting Dream this Winter with its new exciting line up

Genting Dream has announced their latest Winter Itineraries and you can expect an exciting line up. They will be offering three alternating 5-night itineraries departing on every Sunday. The three itineraries are Penang—Phuket—Langkawi—Kuala Lumpur, Langkawi—Phuket—Penang—Kuala Lumpur, Macleod Island (Myanmar)—Phuket and Surabaya—North Bali.

Otherwise, you can also opt for the 3-night cruise to Phuket — Langkawi, 2-night cruise to Kuala Lumpur or take weekend Bintan cruises.

If you don’t already know, they are already promoting their ongoing Summer Idyll itineraries from 1 April 2018 to 14 November 2018. You will get to watch a real-life Mermaid, Kat in action and also listen to talks by an actual NASA astronaut!

My favourite part of the cruise is that they have the Mermaid Academy (25 May to 8 June), so stoked to be able to have a chit chat session with the mermaid, Kat, herself. She has vast experience in scuba diving, swimming and modelling. She combines her passion and has now branches of mermaid school in Australia (where she is based right now) and Germany. As a professional mermaid trainer, she will personally conduct the classes with her assistant and teach you proper breathing techniques and how to control your body to swim gracefully in the water.

There are also several Food and Beverage restaurants you can have your meals at, first up take a look at Bistro by Mark Best.

Bistro by Mark Best is a celebrity restaurant which has 160 seats, featuring contemporary western cuisine which includes chef’s table and an outdoor grill. Chef’s menu varies from each stay as it will depend on the passengers.

Umi Uma comprises of two sections — Teppanyaki and Sushi Bar. The above pictures are from the Telpanyaki section, where you can eat over at the grand teppanyaki tables while watching playful and skilful chefs preparing your food. They make the effort to entertain you with their cooking utensils making the meal a light hearted one.

Umi Uma — Sushi Bar

Bar City, which has five unique venues such as the Johnnie Walker House, Penfolds Wine Vault, Humidor Cigar lounge, Mixt Cocktail Bar and the Bubbles champagne bar.

Now onto their Team Building Venues, they have a SportPlex, Rock Climbing Wall, Ropes Course, Karaoke and even a Zip Line — the only cruise who has a Zip Line that extends outside of the ship.

There are almost endless of fun activities and entertainment for everyone of all ages on the ship, party-goers can head to the Zouk Beach Club (yes, on the cruise itself), sun-lovers can swim at the Genting Club Pool and Sun Deck. Children will love the water slides, there are 6 of it on board. Little did i know, there are also meeting rooms and a Business Centre within the cruise. There are also plently of Jackpot machines. You literally do not need to leave the cruise.

Of course, we wonder how the rooms look like. We got a lil sneak peek at the one of the grandest rooms, this is the Garden Penthouse with a King size bed, a Queen sized bed and a Double Sofa Bed. Super huge with a second floor, including a private bathtub and bar top counter. It’s literally WOW.

Everywhere in that penthouse is a beautiful spot for all your #ootds and you can snap pictures endlessly, what wonderful memories they will be! You will be so happy on the cruise, keep yourself busy with the programme, food, entertainment and accommodation. Especially so when their staff to passengers ratio is so high. On average there will be about 3,352 passengers and 2,016 staff on board, y’all will be so well taken care of.
