Hanakatsu is a katsu specialist. Well, you know they serve hell of a katsu don if that’s the only thing on their menu.
Super generous servings of pork and chicken that’s coated with breadcrumbs imported from Japan and sprinkled with traditional shichimi spices! Proteins was incredibly tender and delish, think sous vide level. I was so stuffed towards the end of the meal omg. ?
Ordering is simple as there are only 2 options – spicy or non-spicy. Well, being a typical Singaporean i went for the spicy one. I’ll rate myself as an average (Singapore context) in terms of spice tolerance, but damn the spices got the better of me and i downed at least 2 cups of ocha throughout the course of the meal. It was shiok, nevertheless.
Phew. So fair warning here for those who can’t take spice 😮
Oh and for healthier options, go for the 16 multi grains addition to your rice. Cos living well means eating well too ?✨
Ps: Hana literally means flower in Japanese, just like how your katsu laid out beautifully on your bowl ?
