I tried my very first chocolate facial at J Studios and i must say it not only has anti-stress properties, it also tastes very yummy, i can’t help but to lick them around my lips. We got the facial treatment started with a really soothing Welcome Massage with Citrus Essential Oil, i really liked the smell and how refreshing it is! Then i got my face exfoliated with the Cocoa Beans Peeling Scrub (which contains actual granulated cocoa beans) to get rid of dead skin and to enhance absorption of nutrients to be applied on the skin afterwards. It’s really gentle on the skin!
After extraction, the cocoa butter was applied on my face before a relaxing face massage.
Now, the yummy part comes – Chocolate Mask (Fondue Au Chocolat), melted and warm to touch, it smells so good i wish you guys can try some! Take a look at the before and after picture and you can see a more radiant glow, which is restored through the cocoa butter.
I thought that my beautician was really gentle and meticulous, she knew that i was afraid of pain (hehehe) and she assured me during the extraction and also took time to explain the steps, procedures and benefit of each product used on me. I also appreciate that i am very much taken care of from the beginning till the end!
I thought everything is done by the time my chocolate mask is removed but no… Nutriprotective Cream was applied on my face. This step is important as the cream helps to protect the skin against environmental pollutants and damage. It feels a little oily but it helps to hydrate and energise the skin, as well as tones it. I like that i smell of chocolate hahaha smelling sweet and yet don’t look like i have chocolate anywhere on me.
Generally, when i saw my face after the treatment, it became less dull, more radiant looking and doesn’t seem so tired as before. I enjoyed the treatment pretty much and glad that my skin feels so supple and hydrated now.
